Since I was 13 years old, my favorite food has been chaufán rice, I found out about its existence when my parents bought Chinese food for lunch during a special day. To prepare it, first you have to cook it as if it were pasta, then squeeze it and then add it with chopped homelet and chives, finally you have to fry everything in a wok.
It's my favorite food because it tastes and looks very appetizing and because it has a very fine grain, it combines very well with different types of meat and you can also add different vegetables, such as carrots, peas and peppers.
Generally, chaufan rice is a healthy food, as long as it is combined with a balanced diet. Personally, I would like to eat it more often with meat, since it´s a healthy carbohydrate source and also some athletes choose to eat a lot of rice with chicken to have more energy for their training, and I want to start a training program during this summer.
